Athletics Australia senior manager Eric Hollingsworth has been cleared of wrongdoing following an investigation triggered when a former Olympian wrote a letter of complaint about his ''inappropriate'' behaviour during last year's world championships in Korea, The Sunday Age can reveal.
However, Hollingsworth remains the subject of allegations of a conflict of interest over his alleged push to manage athletes while holding the role of AA high performance manager.
Hollingsworth declined to answer questions from The Sunday Age. However, AA chief executive Dallas O'Brien said the board was unaware of suggestions that Hollingsworth was trying to manage athletes.
