Growing Intensity, The Challenge and Lets Not Forget CRAZY TUESDAYS

We are yet another week closer to the world championships and all of a sudden the reality of it all is setting in.

It has been a pretty jam packed, intense and enjoyable week, and I have not been able to wipe the smile off my face. School holidays are over which means I have had to head back to the reality of work (not really complaining as the girls here are fantastic), Michael and Braydon’s fight night is also coming closer and this brings a level of intensity and focus to sessions beyond what I have experienced before. During the week we have also been lucky enough to catch up with Hamish and EJ from Cfm.

We have been off the track for most of the week as Gerrard decided that training and “the speed maker” is exactly what we needed. Now I could tell you what and where this is but then I think Gerrard may actually kill me haha “his little secret” apparently.

Toowoomba sprinter Charlotte van Veenendaal has enlisted the help of world-championship winning duo Brendon Smith and Michael Katsidis in her quest for international success.
Another week down which brings me one week closer to hopping on the plane to Korea. We were blessed with a beautiful week up here, while there was still the usual cool breeze, we had ALOT of sunshine.
We have been in Daegu for just over a week now, more of the Australian team as well as teams from other countries so the atmosphere is growing.
