Destination Daegu - 17 days to go

With less than 48 hours until I board a flight to my first World Championships, I feel a sense of preparedness couple with nerves. There is not much more I could have done right in training up to this point, so that’s why I feel prepared. I feel nervous because..... well..... I’m going up against the best in the world!

If I was to say that I’m not nervous would be a couple and utter lie. The marathon, even by itself, is a beast at the best of times. Throw in hot, humid weather, a large number of athletes who have ran faster than me, and the fact that everyone brings their A-Game.... and I’m getting sweaty palms just thinking about it.
