Time trial in Cologne

Really happy with my 400H time trial I ran here in Cologne on Thursday, 48hrs after arriving.

It was a windy and overcast day but I was determined to run a full race, seeing as my first actual 400H race isnt until Thurs July 21st. I ran 15?s to 7H, 16?s to 9H, 17 to 10H and finished off quite strongly despite the strong headwind that kicked up into 7H.

The body is feeling really good after so much travel across the world and I am really pleased with the way the run felt. I also had a great gym session the day after my time trial and then did a speed session with 2008 100H Olympic silver medallist Sally Pearson. I have been able to get through a normal week of training despite travelling for so long from Aus to Cologne and this is great leading into my race on Thursday.

Another week down which brings me one week closer to hopping on the plane to Korea. We were blessed with a beautiful week up here, while there was still the usual cool breeze, we had ALOT of sunshine.
We have been in Daegu for just over a week now, more of the Australian team as well as teams from other countries so the atmosphere is growing.
