Back to Normal Life

We have been absent from ‘normal life’ for so long our first day back in our apartment felt like we’d moved into a new place. Our first day back at work felt strange, but good.


I was relieved that my brain could still function in the same way it did before I left. Being back to ‘normal life’ is great so far! Nothing beats having our own bed to sleep in, our family right around the corner whenever we want to chat or need a hand, being able to call the doc when we feel fatigued and getting cuddles from all your nephews all the time! There’s no place like home and to be back to ‘normal life’ with an Olympic A standard is even better!!
