My adventure

The solo adventure to Daegu began with a taxi ride to Heathrow Airport, I know I should have taken the train, but lugging 20kg suitcase and probably a 15kg backpack didn’t really interest me.

The trip to the airport took just over an hour, pretty busy on the roads, but knowing me I left in plenty of time! I had some time to kill at the airport, so I had a look around, had a nice lunch, and spent some time on the net, the usual really. Meant to leave at 2.15pm to head back to Frankfurt, but this didn’t happen… I didn’t leave until 3.45pm, which meant to connecting flight seemed pretty tough to get, I landed in Frankfurt at 5.35pm and my next flight to Hong Kong was departing at 5.55pm. Keep cool calm and collected Mel. Getting off theplane was easy, the bus trip to the terminal not so much… But got there, sprinted through the terminal to arrive at the gate at 5.50pm, done I was on and ready to go. Was a bit out of breathe, not going to lie but I was on and ready to start the next leg of my journey.
