Man oh man, I have a lot to cover in this blog today. In the last three days Kara and I have travelled about 1350 miles just to race one mile in Traverse City, Michigan. It was my first time in Michigan and I always get excited to visit new places (traveling is the best perk of this job, especially to new places).

We left from Boiling Springs PA early on Thursday and traveled to Mentor, Ohio to spend the night with Bekka Simko and her family. It took a couple of hours longer than expected as our GPS was set to avoid toll roads. We only realised this when the interstate turned into Amish country and I spent the next half an hour desperately avoiding colliding with the local horse and buggies.
