I'm No Tiger Woods...

My mates and I have been getting the golf bug recently.

The Australian Open and The President’s Cup have been on the TV the past 2 weekends so there’s certainly been plenty of motivation. Having Tiger Woods out here also boosts the sport immensely. I know he has a lot of detractors but personally I’d love to see him get back to the top. I love a good come-back and Woods is one of the greatest sportspeople in history so I’m sure there would be plenty of fans hoping he can get back also. Females, my Mum included, may not be jumping on the band wagon as they may feel that the way he acted towards his wife is unforgiveable, but the way I see it, and I think most men do too, is that his personal life is none of my business and watching him play golf is an absolute pleasure.

It’s taken me a couple of day’s to get around to writing this blog. If you’ve ever done long-haul international flights, you’ll know that they are comprehensively exhausting.
I’m back in State College after a 16 hour travel day yesterday that involved a flight to Pitt via Phoenix and then a car ride home. I had an awesome couple of days on the Canadian west coast and I’ll fire off a quick recap.
Commonwealth Games representative Julian Wruck has had the leading performance of Australian collegiate athletes competing at the NCAA championships, winning the discus.
A big thank you to everyone who offered me support and advice over the last few days. It’s been a pretty wild ride.
