Stereosonic and The 12th Man

I’ve been given a bit of positive feedback from people who read my blogs regarding the fact that I don’t bore you guys each week talking about my training.

To be honest, my training weeks are never that exciting. I run a fair bit, and generally it’s with my Mum or Dad on the bike. When Aaron Royle is in town I link up with him for a few runs but generally it’s just Mum for company, with Dad coming in for weekends. Mum’s great to run with because she knows not to talk to me when I’m tired, but when things are easy or getting a little boring she’s good for conversation and always asks a few questions to keep me occupied. The main question being “how’s your love life”, as it is with all my mates when they come over! It’s good to keep you in the loop with how things are progressing on the running front in the lead up to the 2012 season, so for now things are going well and I’m not too far off the mark.

I’m back in State College after a 16 hour travel day yesterday that involved a flight to Pitt via Phoenix and then a car ride home. I had an awesome couple of days on the Canadian west coast and I’ll fire off a quick recap.
Commonwealth Games representative Julian Wruck has had the leading performance of Australian collegiate athletes competing at the NCAA championships, winning the discus.
A big thank you to everyone who offered me support and advice over the last few days. It’s been a pretty wild ride.
