The Final Countdown

nah nah naaahhh naah, nah nah na na naaahhhh!!

OK so it doesn’t really convey over text but I’d hope most of you were realising I was singing the final countdown song!Anyways, moving on. This might be a long blog post, but it will be the most important thing i will ever write on this website.

We’re in the last week until I get on the plane to China. Infact, today also means that I line up on the start line in Shenzhen in two weeks!

It’s taken me a couple of day’s to get around to writing this blog. If you’ve ever done long-haul international flights, you’ll know that they are comprehensively exhausting.
I’m back in State College after a 16 hour travel day yesterday that involved a flight to Pitt via Phoenix and then a car ride home. I had an awesome couple of days on the Canadian west coast and I’ll fire off a quick recap.
Commonwealth Games representative Julian Wruck has had the leading performance of Australian collegiate athletes competing at the NCAA championships, winning the discus.
A big thank you to everyone who offered me support and advice over the last few days. It’s been a pretty wild ride.
