Lagat sets new American 5000m record in Boston
Former world 5000m champion Bernard Lagat set a new American indoor record at the Reebok Boston Games on Saturday.
The 35-year-old Kenyan born athlete clocked 13:11.50 minutes, edging out Ethopian duo Dejen Gebremeskel and Bekana Daba to take victory over 5000m.
