Mitchell Watt content with 8.12m leap in Monaco warm-up for London Games

Olympic long jump medal contender Mitchell Watt was happy with his second placing in last night's Samsung Diamond League in Monaco, his final competition before the London Games.
Watt's best jump of 8.12m was his final jump of the night, putting him behind reigning Olympic champion Irving Saladino, of Panama, who won with a jump of 8.16m.
The competition confirms that the 2008 gold medallist, who could only manage sixth place in last week's Diamond League meeting, will be a strong challenge to Watt, who won that event, in London when they compete in two weeks' time.
