At this evening’s IAAF World Challenge meeting in Rieti, which was celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, Kenyan David Rudisha, who lowered the world 800m record last week in Berlin to a time of 1:41.09, further reduced the all-time best for two laps to 1:41.01.
