On the eve of Jana Rawlinson's much-anticipated return to the track, fellow hurdler Sally Pearson has backed the two-time world champion to again reach the pinnacle of her sport.

Rawlinson will race on Australian soil for the first time in five years when she takes part in the 400m hurdles at the Perth Track Classic on Thursday and Friday.
The 28-year-old has been plagued by a series of foot injuries since winning her second world championship crown in Osaka in 2007.
